Aetranox Distally Angled Proximator

NewMed® Aetranox Distally Angled Sharpened Proximator® Purple is designed to help with the atraumatic extraction of teeth, especially those located in difficult areas. Its distally angled tip allows for precise access to the distal root surfaces, helping to separate the periodontal ligament with minimal force.

The sharpened edge facilitates efficient elevation of the tooth, reducing trauma to surrounding bone and tissue and it is perfect for extractions where socket preservation is crucial, providing optimal control and comfort during surgical procedures. 

The Distal Sharpened Spade Proximator features the same fine point as a Sharpened Spade Proximator, oriented for distal and lingual application. The thin profile and sharpened edges incise the tendon quickly and expand the alveolus laterally.

In cases where there is a lack of coronal structure, or the root has fractured subgingivally, the tip of the Distal Sharpened Spade Proximator can still be easily advanced along the side of the root. The Distal Sharpened Spade Proximator is well suited to create a purchase point for the application of additional Proximators or other instrumentation such as extraction forceps.
